Park Attractions

Welcome Center
Our Welcome Center is a place of anticipation and excitement because it’s the gateway to Morgan’s Wonderland. Guests enter through a large porte cochere leading to the Welcome Center. Guests are required to pre-register and make a reservation online or by phone before arriving at the park, thus allowing easy access to the visitors’ information in our database. As guests arrive they are assigned special wristbands which identify their family or group. These wristbands help to provide state of the art security through RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. Several location station monitors are located in key areas throughout the park, so if a family or group member becomes separated any other member of their group can see where they are by simply scanning his or her own bracelet. These wristbands not only provide comfort and security against a child getting lost, but also guard against the possibility of either a child leaving with a stranger, or leaving the park alone. A special entry and exit procedure ensures a safe and worry-free experience at the park.
In addition to the entrance/exit areas, the Welcome Center also includes business offices, concessions, first aid station and specially designed accessible restrooms.
Event Center & Gymnasium
Spacious and versatile, our 18,000-square-foot Event Center is THE place for extra-special events! It’s also the perfect place for special events such as banquets and galas. The main room accommodates up to 550 people for a seated dinner and up to 700 people for a casual gathering. There is also a 900-square-foot meeting room available with full audio-visual capability.

“Taking Flight” Bronze Sculpture
Artist Doug Roper’s beautiful sculpture of a butterfly ready to take flight from a child’s outstretched hands sets an inspiring tone for Morgan’s Wonderland guests. The 25-foot-tall work of art is the first thing guests see as they get set to explore the park. “Taking Flight,” the largest cast-bronze sculpture in San Antonio, took 800 pounds of clay, 1,500 pounds of steel and 6,200 pounds of bronze to create.
Carousel
Our beautiful 36-foot-in-diameter, one-of-a-kind carousel allows children and adults of different abilities to fully experience the fun of a merry-go-round. Morgan’s Wonderland worked closely with the ride’s engineers to create adaptive animals that serve as special seats for guests incapable of sitting upright. Unique benches allow a special-needs guest to be safely secured and sit next to a friend or caregiver, and guests in wheelchairs can enjoy the experience with custom chariots that go up and down just like the carousel’s other creatures.
